The goal of Montbello Moves’ Electric Charging Station initiative is to support sustainable transportation options and promote the adoption of electric vehicles, contributing to a cleaner and greener community. While we are still in the early phases of this initiative, we are excited to be in the process of installing our first electric vehicle (EV) charging station and aim to play a significant role in stewarding the development of this essential infrastructure. We will continue to update this page with progress updates on the first EV charging station and upcoming installations, as well as information on benefits, locations, charging options, etiquette, sustainability advantages, and future expansion plans of our Electric Charging Station network. With the goal of promoting sustainable mobility, the Electric Charging Station initiative plays a vital role in supporting the adoption of electric vehicles and reducing the consumption of fossil fuels. Charging Station Locations
Our initial EV charging station is planned to be located at the Environmental Learning for Kids Education Center, 12680 Albrook Dr, Denver, CO 80239. As we progress in our project to develop the electric vehicle charging infrastructure, we aim to strategically position charging stations throughout Montbello for optimal accessibility and convenience to electric vehicle owners. These stations will ideally be situated in key locations such as shopping centers, public parking lots, and popular areas including the Montbello Branch Library, parks, and the Montbello Recreation Center. We will provide detailed information, including addresses and relevant details such as parking restrictions or accessibility features, to assist users in easily locating the nearest charging station.

Charging Options
The first EV charging station will be equipped with a Level 2 charger. Moving forward, our plan is to offer a range of charging options to cater to the diverse needs of electric vehicle owners. Our charging infrastructure will include both Level 2 chargers, which provide a moderate charging rate suitable for longer parking durations, and fast chargers designed for quick and efficient charging sessions. As we continue to secure funding opportunities for developing our EV charging infrastructure, we intend to make charging available to users at no cost, ensuring affordability and accessibility for all.
